EYESHADOWS
Todays blog will be all about eyeshadows ! personally, I don't use eyeshadow a lot because I don't know how to apply it properly! I get excited and get carried away and end up with a black eye blah, blah, blah...
I watch lots or tutorials about eyeshadows and I love them. My favorite makeup artist is Lauren Curtis, she is sooo talented.

WHAT DOES IT DO?
Eyeshadow adds depth and dimension to ones eye and complements their eye color (if you use the right shade). Ancient greeks wore eyeshadow a lot, but I'm sure the packaging was a little different back then! It is usually made of powder but can also come as  mica, pencil, liquid or mousse form.

HISTORY
Men and women living in Egypt as far back as 10,000BC added a substance called Kohl to their eye. It was a dark powder applied to the eye  bye a stick. It was used as a good eyeliner and could restore good eye sight and fight eye infections! Kohl was made of crushed burned almonds, lead, atimony, ochre, copper, malachite and chrysocalla.
